Mandy has been perfecting her acoustic pop sound for the last 10 years. Highlights of her musical career include performing at several fund-raising events for causes such as Leukemia research and performing on the main stage at the Rocky Mountain Folks Fest with Peter Himmelman.

Mandy's roots in music come from her love of entertaining audiences. As a child she sang to Bette Midler albums for friends and family and performed self-choreographed dance pieces to Michael Jackson tunes. Her passion for music has only increased over the years as she has honed her talent and musical focus into a powerful brew of folk-rock fusion.

Mandy's inspiration comes from her profound respect for her friends and family as well her powerful female heroes Patty Griffin, Indigo Girls, Oprah, Margaret Cho, Wonder Woman and the Powerpuff Girls.

Mandy Meng's latest fully-produced album, New Kind of Cute, will be available August 1, 2003.
